Contact UsAt Matthews & Stephens Associates we offer our clients three basic search agreement options; a Contingency, an Exclusive, and a Retained agreement. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and our ability to tailor our agreements, providing a customized strategic partnership to suit each client’s unique situation.
Our basic search agreement which allows you to use other resources in your search such as your own internal means or other search firms. Our service charge is a percentage based on the first year’s total compensation or reasonable estimate thereof, including bonuses and incentives.
We are the exclusive agent and are fully partnered with you; this is the preferred method of the clients we work with on a regular basis. We completely coordinate all aspects of the search so your time can be focused on interviewing the qualified finalists that we present to you. As with the Contingency Search Agreement, our fee is also a percentage of the first year’s total compensation or reasonable estimate thereof, including bonuses and incentives. Since we are fully partnered with you, the fee percentage is lower than in that of the Contingency Agreement. A non-refundable engagement fee is charged at the time the agreement is executed, which is deducted from the invoiced total at the completion of the search.
